Penny Bun is one of the common names for Porcini or Ceps. They have a distinctively bulbous white stem, and a chestnut brown cap. One of the classic cooking mushrooms. The blend I've come up with is warm browns and white that spins up to a heathered yarn (better photos to come in due course).
This is a really woolly blend, and it's merino free. It's pretty soft, and would be perfect for colourwork and cosy garments and accessories.
